A photo of me and my girls from 1976 that I scanned and cleaned up a bit. My baby was only about a week old in this photo and now she's 34! Wow! Time sure flies, doesn't it!! The layout was inspired by a Pagemaps sketch. The papers I used are all from Crate Paper . Flowers from my stash. The big heart is hand cut and the smaller heart is a punch. I backed both hearts with yellow cardstock and trimmed with scalloped scissors, then added a little bling. The hearts and the title are pop-dotted for a little dimension. The red swirls are hand drawn with a red pen. The yellow border on the right side of the dotted paper was cut with a QK die, then doodled on. I added a piece of tiny red rickrack down the center of it. The title work was cut with QK Frankie font and the word "my" is some stick on letters. The floral paper under the title is the back side of the dotted paper. I added a small punched scalloped border and yellow rickrack to the floral paper. Journaling was computer generated (I did it in two different text boxes so that I could arrange the placement for the title to overlap the journaling. I also added a blue scalloped edge on the right side of the center matting. Red lines and dashes around the outside edges were all hand doodled. Journaling reads:

Kimberly was just a little over a week old (the first week of December 1976) when your Daddy took this photo of me and my girls. Traci, you were almost 22 months old (sporting a big Cool-aid smile!). You were so excited to have a new baby sister. We were living on Malvin Street in Gallatin, Tennessee in the first house that we bought just a few months before Kimberly was born. Your daddy and I were 26 years old and were so happy with our growing family.

THanks so much for stopping by! Your comments are much appreciated!
