I love how this turned out!! So pretty - and so different from mine, hehehehe....I like the lines you added to the edges - that really gave it a finished touch. Hope that quote at the bottom is true - as we are putting in 100 more plants today!!!! bwah ha ha !!! I wish Mama was still here to advise me on my plantings... I really enjoyed you being here last week - wish we got to do that more often :)
Susan, you are the one that inspired me become involved on the forums here at SB.com. Your layouts inspired me with your eye for design and detail work. I love Nuvo drops and know that is quite a feat putting so many along the edge of your papers. Lovely creative work as always.
Photo taken of my mother in 2004 in my brother's backyard. Papers were from my sister's stash (kzookeeper), so I don't really know what I used, except for the green...it is from EP For the Record 2. The big flower at the top was cut with a set of Spellbinder dies and pop dotted for dimension. I also added some Nuvo drops around the edges of each layer and a solid purple center on the top flower. The leaves and flowers at the bottom of the photo were also cut with Spellbinder dies. I added some faux stitching to the light colored blocks and around the edges of the layout. Quote I found online. Title work was some old "leather-looking" alphas I found in my stash. I also added three large Nuvo drops in purple to the top and bottom squares.
