Love how you cut away the space for the photo. The touch of lace is perfect and how neat to have that old receipt. Beautiful calligraphy on the date. Gorgeous layout!
absolutly divine, gorgeous, and so precious. What a vert pretty bride, luved reading your lil story, gorgeous papers, and I luv those flowers. So special.
OMG Karen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awesome old photo!!!!!!!!! I so enjoyed reading your description! Beautiful lo!! I especially love that lace photo corner!!!
I love the distressed borders, cut work, flower arrangement and that corner of lace! Amazing both that you have the receipt and the cost! I'm thinking with all that went wrong, maybe the marriage was doomed from the beginning. Lots of bad omens there!
Sometimes nice to remember the good times instead of the bad!! Its just beautiful, the lace, the flowers, the pp choice. Wonderful page as always, my talented friend!!
Although my parents divorced, I have always loved this photo of them. My mom wore a borrowed wedding gown that was too short for her, thus the train draped in the front. Her veil caught fire after the ceremony (too close to a gas stove at an aunt's house where she went after church because the aunt could not attend the wedding) so she wore none at the reception. Next to the photo is a copy of the receipt from the hotel my parents stayed in on their honeymoon night~The Hotel New Yorker, April 25, 1948. The room was $8.93! TFL!
