This is the LO I did for the Scrapvivor Challenge I am hosting. It can't actually be in the contest of course, but I thought it'd be fun to play along. This is also the first monochromatic LO I have ever done. The scan is kinda hinky (top and bottom have been cut off, looks rounded and the colors don't show much), but I used 5 different shades of orange. First time I haven't used any patterned pp in FOREVER!
Requirements: At least 1 photo; only title may be visible, must be hidden journaling; all elements/embellis must be square or rectangular; must use the color orange.
The middle photo opens up to reveal the hidden journaling:
October 2000 * Going to Stowe’s Pumpkin Patch is a tradition we always look forward to. Each year we go and have hot cider and take a hay ride out to the Patch. You girls spend quite a while finding the perfect pumpkins. Petting and playing with the Stowe’s dog, Goldie, is another activity you both enjoy. There’s also a “pumpkin house,” a play area with a swing set and slide, a small corn maze, and there’s always a campfire going which gives us a place to warm up if necessary. You girls think it’s fun to sit on the stumps by the fire. I don’t particularly enjoy the smoke from the fire, but that’s okay. Besides pumpkins, you also like to look at the large variety of gourds they sell. It’s fun to see all the different shapes.
