Give a Cheer
This is my submission for the Stalker Challenge over at Scraps of Darkness that Renea is hosting. We were to scrap a favorite musician, band, use the name as a title, corrugated cardboard, and paint. I had never used the corrugated cardboard before and I have never stitched on a layout before, so those were two fun new things I tried during this challenge. I picked up the We R Memory Keepers nifty little sewing tool-worked like a dream for the stiched boarder! Love the effect and texture that it adds. The papers, DA fairy chippie and one of the flowers are all from Scraps of Darkness. I used glimmer glam to turn my stuff a shade of orange to go with the photo. I used my cricut to cut the swirly black paper to match the photo, too. I LOVE Evanescence, specifically, Amy Lee. She has the voice of an angel. Their music always makes me feel kind of dreamy and mystical, so that's what I was going for by using the fairy and stars.
I'm so in love with Scraps of Darkness kits and challenges. Couldn't have found a better kit club to match me.
