OK -- this gorgeous LO of your is so going into my Faves!!! I'm starting to work on my husband's family's heritage album and I do believe this LO is going to be an inspiration for a page! I love all the colors on this LO --- they make the pic just pop with turn-of-the-century charm. I love how your "warped little brain" works -- you just crack me up. :) GREAT LO!!!
Wow Lynne! I love this! I love the pp, colors, and you know I love the fact that you snatched that greenery!!!! You just crack me up!!! OK, I really need to study this page because I love how you cut the one piece and tucked your trellis under it. No kidding...I am working on a lo right now where I wanted to do that very thing and was trying to figure out how it would work. I kind of wanted it to overlap the photo. Guess I'll have to try it! Another beautiful heritage page!!!
Beautiful family photo...aren't they a treasure to have!!! Love how you have scrapped this!!! The neighbours dried arrangement works a treat here and your handmade flowers look fabulous!!! Love it!!
wonderful heritage lo Lynne. Love how you cut the background pp so you could tuck the lattice/trellis work under it. The frame/mat, colors and punchwork are all FANTASTIC. love this!!!
Love the photo, I always love the clothes! The little girls have bows in their hair, I like that. Love all the parts and pieces of this layout, beautiful page!
I really love the flow of this Lynne! Interesting way you put the punchwork! I was looking everywhere for where The Bangle Family was at...I gave up and scrolled down to comment and found it...duh! Can you tell I need new glasses? LOL
O Lynne this is A*W*E*S*O*M*E!!!!!! What a fabulous photo to have and you've done a fantastic job with the lo yet again! I think family photos with most or all of the family is a rarity to find!!! I love the name plate (yes, I probably share your mind, is that a good thing?). Love your punch work :) (so delighted I was the first to comment!!!)
My grandmother with her parents and siblings in about nineteen~0~nine; she's the one on the far right. The greenery came from a dried arrangement my neighbour was going to throw out;skeleton leaves and kraft glassine flower. Because the paper said "family" on it, instead of writing "The Bangle Family" I was going to put "The Bangles", but then "Eternal Flame started playing in my warped little brain and I just couldn't...so "The Bangle Family" it is! TFL
