My son in law is scottish, and I have a whole lot of pictures from lochness from their last trip. I think I go there in spring and see it for myself. I just love the colours of your layout! Everything fits SO well together, favorit!
Wow, those photos are are beautiful. Lovely lo, the pps and the embellies really bring out the vibrant colors in the photos. Welcome back, we've missed you around here!
Wow, love it, the orange flowers are the perfect compliment!! Such a pretty place and so lovely that you had the chance to see it. It is hard to get back into it after a long break but now your are back there will be no stopping you!! Gorgeous lo!!
I love this LO. It brings back memories of when I went to Loch Ness. I took a picture of the water and I am telling you that there is an image of Loch Ness in the water!
Absolutely amazing! I am so happy that you decided to scrap these photos and hope to see more pages from your trip!!!!!! The photos are striking and gorgeous and so is your page. I love how you used up your stash for this awesome layout!
Beautiful work! I went on a boat tour of Loch Ness in 2007 and still haven't scrapped my photos of it yet! Ugh! Your design and the photos are gorgeous.
I've been waiting to see your next lo...and WOW...it is SPECTACULAR!!! The photos are so bright and beautiful; Loch Ness and the castle are fabulous. and you have framed them beautifully with the gorgeous chalked flowers, burlap and punched doily! Your vacation certainly did not diminish your ability to do an amazing lo!
awesome photos; love the Nessie statue!! Love the punchwork and the colours are so striking-the orange flowers are fabulous! So nice to see you scrapping again, Maryanne!
Wow Maryanne, a beautiful piece!!! I really love how you have arranged the three photographs and then embellished with just the right amount of items and color to really set off the lovely photos! So very beautiful with the rich natural blues and touches of rusty orange!! A winner, as always, and a Great re-entry into the scrapping world. (I always find it so difficult to put something together the longer I have been away from it!)
Gorgeous photo and love how you brought out the blues and orange in it! You've told me you snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, perhaps you should have searched for Nessie that way! Rascally Grandma for tricking the grandies, even for a moment!
Beautiful Maryanne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The blue, white & orange color combo is perfect for those awesome photos & I LOVE your punch work!!!!! You have not lost your artistic talents my friend! This is fabulous work as always!
Great to see you scrapping again. Love the colours....blue and orange are so gorgeously vibrant against each other. Fabulous photos. Looking forward to seeing some more of your travel photos.

Amazing photos and the colours of the flowers are a perfect match. What a gorgeous day it looks over there as I hear they are few and far between. My father was a Scot and I had a wish to visit his homeland but never have.So lovely to see your lovely work again.
So beautiful design - so simple, but the colors are so striking that I had to put it in my FAVE's - love the touch of burlap and whwat you did with the clock.
Finally a layout...it has been 6 months. It seems the longer I take a break the harder it is for me to get going again. I wasn't going to scrap my recent trip overseas, but I guess I need a break from heritage and gk's and I thought it might be a good way to get rid of a lot old stash.
The photo's are Loch Ness and the ruins of Urqhart Castle along with a statue of Lochie. When I asked my 10 yr old twin gs's if they wanted to see a pic of Lochie, they were quick to reply he wasn't real. I asked if they were sure about that. Well you should have seen the wide eyes when I bought the photo's up on the big screen TV (I wish I had the camera handy for that moment) It only took a moment though for them to realise he was a statue :)
I used a mix of old papers and some old prima flowers that I chalked to get a deeper orange colour.
