OK, I must be honest here... this is a cute pic of the LO... but nowhere near the true richness of the colors of the paper. This is such a warm, deep, rich plum & purple in person and I just love this! I must say thank you again for all your hard work on this sweetie! I just love it!
Last December I made two calendars for two very wonderful scrappers whom I met thru scrapjazz and this site. These gals are true angels to me and am deeply touched by their acts of kindness and friendship. Wish I could visit with them, but because there is such a distance, I decided to bring a little bit of the Midwest to them. This is the calendar I made for Lauri D. This photo turned out so glorious to me...I just love it. It was taken during another one of our camping excursions to the North Shore in MN. It is the St. Louis River at dusk after a beautiful fall day. Its truly one of my favorites. I want to thank my wonderful friend Lauri for giving me the black corner pieces. The handmade paper on the right was purchased online at http://handmade-paper.us/. They have a terrific selection. Thanks so much for taking time to look. Love to hear from you - ALWAYS! The poem reads: "For there is no friend like a sister; in calm or story weather; To cheer one on the tedious way; To fetch one if one goes astray; To lift one if one totters down; To strengthen whilst one stand. -Christina Rosseti"
