Hello my fellow scrapper friends! I wish for your day to be a beautiful one!
This is one of two layouts I made for my SIL. This is her very first granddaughter---whom she has never held or seen in person. Its a sad story, but her son Richard and the baby's mother, Amanda are not currently together. And Amanda will not "allow" Richard to spend time alone with his baby girl. My SIL only sees pictures of OvieElla from Amanda's Facebook page (Amanda has her page Public for all to see). I learned about this sad situation the weekend before Mothers' Day. I was visiting with my SIL and brother when she told me the only way she gets to see her granddaughter is through FB posts by Amanda. That broke my heart. How much OvieElla is missing not knowing her grandma!! My SIL has a heart of gold and is one that blesses everyone's life that she knows!!! We were having a family get-together yesterday and I knew I had to create a couple of layouts for her. All of these pictures are from Amanda's FB page. The large picture at the top was my SIL's favorite one. I hope some day SOON, Ovie and grandma will meet!
This layout was created by using the 12 x 12 Scrap Pack "Sweet Floral" The letters to Ovie's name were from G45's Secret Garden. The punch along the sides is the EK Success Parisan. I used sequence and beads to give the bling. Rouge Liquid Pearls surround the photos and MS's corner punch Doily scallops the corners. The sentiment came from SB.com/Resources/Quotes section. The floral bling are purchases I made when I was visiting my scrappy soul sissy Lauri D last year in Seattle. And finally the beautiful pink crochet flower is from my friend BonniePratt---THANKS A BUNCH!!!
