Have no idea how I've missed your layouts as I adore vintage photos! Such a heartwarming poem! Interesting flowers, wish my computer didn't blur things...
I enjoyed Michelle Grant's technique on ink resisting so much, I had to do another DA Foliage fern but this time, I used Worn Lipstick and Walnut stain (Distress Ink), and added liquid pearls to make the spores. Made Starsailor's "Savage Beauty" flower. Pic is of Ginger, age 2, and her sister, Abbie, age 4. Abbie passed away sometime ago and Ginger wrote a poem about their childhood, and I just had to use it in this l/o: Two little girls two and four played together on the cabin dirt floor, took their baths in an old tin tub, slept under a quilt that wasn't new any more; went bare foot and wore hand me down clothes; danced in the flowers by the old town creek; one is here, the other went to sleep. Abbie Orene 1935-2003.
