oh I love that tree die - I am going to have that die to my wish list for sure! I love this story and what a gorgeous tree. He can play let's make a deal for me anytime!
What a beautiful tree and story. You made a tragedy into something the children will remember always with a fond memory. The snowflakes were a nice touch.
What a memorable Christmas for all of you - one you will never forget! Sad events leading up to Christmas but Christmas was still nice in Lake Tahoe for all the family, and especially the children in the family. I never thought of using purple in a Christmas layout but it really works! Its beautiful! I love the tree embellie and the group photo is really nice!
So my N1S's father-in-law died unexpectedly in February! One of those dreaded midnight calls! So his mother-in-law G'Ma Micky wanted to go away for Christmas. They went to Lake Tahoe, CA and rented a beautiful home with lots of bedrooms for Micky's 3 children and their families. Micky has 7 grandchildren and 2 of them are our grandchildren. So uncle Rick and auntie Stacey went to the local Walmart for who knows what and saw this purple tree (purple is Stacey's favorite color), so uncle Rick found the right person and said this is Christmas eve and no one is buying that tree so let's make a deal. The tree decorated was $300 dollars and they finally agreed that Rick would pay $50 and they wrapped the tree with wrap, lots of it so the ornaments couldn't move and took it to the rented house and surprised everyone! They called it the Minnesota Vikings tree. So that is my ds1 and family in front of the tree. This is for the Two Pic, Use Your Stamps and 5 Ingredients Challenges. Thanks so much for your comments and a Happy New Year to you all!
