Here is my dear sister on her sixth birthday, I am amazed at the memories and feelings I have from those days the photo brings back, this is another of our Polaroid photos. The journaling reads:

Joys Sixth Birthday & I see:
Fred & Lucy our Canaries & Mums black gondola sitting on the mosaic table Uncle Bob made. Lemonade, homemade, our red thermos beakers to keep it cool, Tupperware bowls, pink & blue as I remember, sausages on sticks, ham rolls, Joy's chocolate birthday cake, butterfly buns still a firm favorite, biscuits, Mum made her own way back then, all laid out in the sitting room with those lemon and green flowered curtains drawn shading the food from Cyprus & its blistering sun. We would have had a wonderful time playing Pass the Parcel, Musical Chairs and Pin the Tail on the Donkey not forgetting Blind Mans Bluff,
Wow what a party we had!!!
