Journaling: A lot of time I spent with Mama was usually in the kitchen. While I didn’t have the aptitude for cooking, I liked cleaning up well enough. We would often get into arguments when it came to leftovers. Because it would always be challenging getting all those plastic containers to fit in the fridge. Especially when it was already full of other stuff we had. I would argue it wouldn’t fit, and Mama would stress the opposite. She always won. Like her own weird game of Tetris, she knew how to perfectly stack and position every last item in the fridge so it not only would fit, but there would still be space! I liked to call this one of mama’s superpowers.
