My poor DH was being picked on by his younger brother over DH's clothing choices. DD is a Fashion Major, so DH had her write the following note (upper right picture): Dear Uncle Jack, The green shirt and Khaki pants that dad wore on Wednesday are socially acceptable in the fashion world. Please do not pick on him anymore. Sincerely, Shawna Fashion Consultant
The journaling for the layout reads: "Terry and Jack commute to work each day. Jack is very knowledgeable about many, many things. Fashion is just one of many areas of "expertise". One day Terry wore his green shirt and tan dockers. Jack was quick to point out, "Hey....those don't match". Of course, they did match, but poor Terry had to argue his point as they drove to the office together.
A couple of days later, Terry brought in a note from Shawna (I'll insert note here). Jack's response....? "I think that you should question the education that Shawna is getting at SFSU". Sadly....he was serious!
A couple of weeks later, Jack and Terry drive past a man wearing the same green shirt, and a slightly lighter color of tan pants. Terry pointed to the man and said, "Look Jack....that guy doesn't match!!". Jack said, "He matches. That shirt goes with those pants". Terry reminded Jack about what he said 2 weeks early. Jack responded, "Well, yeah, those pants didn't match. Those were too dark. That shirt would have gone with the pants that you have on right now". To which Terry replied, "Jack, these are the pants I was wearing that day.". Jack argued, "No they aren't. Those pants were dark brown". Terry promptly replied, "You know Jack, you're killing me, There are days when I have to bang my head on the wall for 30 minutes after you drop me off (at home)".
