Very cute, I love how you've journaled and scrapped this idea. It is sometimes difficult to scrap an idea as opposed to an event and you have done it well.
This is the best story!! What a wonderful family tradition. Perfect title. Very creative. You found the perfect pp illusrations too. My brother once gave our baby sister a bday card that read, "Happy Birthday to my baby sitter." LOL . He'll never live that down. Wish I had the card to scrap!
Very cool story. Reminds me of our "Thark You" paper. We purchased it at a discount store because we were laughing so hard at the typo we couldn't n*o*t purchase it!
Journaling reads: Why is this Mother’s Day gift wrapped in baby paper? To answer this question, we must first ask why the previous year’s Mother’s Day gift was wrapped in Valentine’s Day paper. In that particular year, Terry painstakingly selected “mom-type” paper….something with little hearts on it. The gesture was very thoughtful until the “under 50 crowd” pointed out the fine print: next to each little heart were the words, “Happy Valentine’s Day”. Thus began the tradition of wrapping presents in non-traditional paper. So, Happy Fatherversary, Merry Christmakuh, and Happy Birthoween. It’s all good!
