How fun... my town, Warrensburg, MO, has dogs all over town that have been painted. Warrensburg is the origin of the phrase "Man's best friend". The Dog's name is Old Drum.

What it fun it must have been finding all of those adorable creatures. Sort of a furry treasure hunt! Reminds me of Ruidoso, NM and its ever present chainsaw-carved bears. Love the plaid paper and the eyelet punch.

Oh, thanks for putting a smile on my face today with this! Love the ephemera in the center showing all the statues of the marmots and of course Elmer and his quote! My great grandpa's name was Elmer. :)

This is such a hoot! I guess a lot of towns have their collections to track down (I've seen pegasuses [pegasi?] in Dallas, longhorns in Ft. Worth, lighthouses in Sandusky, guitars in Nashville) but NEVER marmots! LOL! Love the title and your Elmer Fudd!
