journaling reads:
This fine old boat was my home for a year. It was docked at Thompson Harbor in Sitka, Alaska. It was beat up and small, only 28 ft., but it was home. We had many friends in the harbor, and we spent many hours out on the water exploring the many islands that surround Sitka. On our way to Rowan Bay to work the logging camp, while we were anchored for the night, a huge storm came up and we had to beach her. She had little fish swimming in her hold. That was 24 years ago. As far as i know, she sits there still. She was a good home.
