I think this is adorable! I know what you mean about getting a 2 year old to pose! LOL
For my ds' 2nd birthday invites I just used a picture I had taken a few weeks earlier and cropped it close so all you could see was his head, all the background was cut out.
I will see if I have any cards with ribbon tied at the top... I am bad at explaining things but maybe I have a picture you can see!
Anyways, love the colors and cute lettering for this invitation!!
I had thought of including a picture of Meg, but I'm having trouble getting one that's appropriate. You can clean up the family room and set out the instruments, but you can't make a 2 year old slow down and pose!
I'm not exactly sure what you all mean about the ribbon. Anyone have an example they can show me?
I like the idea of the ribbon, and the borders around the pictures. Maybe "matting" the photos?? What about putting a picture of Meg on the front of the card in place of one of the instruments?
I too was thinking a ribbon across the top that ties on the left side of the card. I love the clip art and colors! I think it is perfect for her b-day invite!
I think it looks great! If you do want to add something more, perhaps a ribbon at the front of the card? There are lots of ribbons at shabbyprincess. Also, maybe you can put a border around the 3 pics..
This is an invitation I've done for Meg's birthday party next month. It's all digital so anything can be moved around. I'm not thrilled with it. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
