Using one of my past Clique Kits to make this layout. "A Beautiful Story", this is a layout about our Little Pink Houses of Hope Retreat to Gulf Shores Alabama 2016. It is a week long retreat for breast cancer survivors and their families and everything including hotel, food and actitivies are paid for. These are the kids of the 8 families who participated, all the kids including my own have been affected by breast cancer because their moms are survivors. They came from all over the country, different ages and different personalities. They started the week on Sunday being shy and not interacting with each other and by Wednesday they were all best of friends. They met every night at they lazy river pool and floated down holding hands and inner tubes. On our goodbye family dinner on Friday they all decided on their own to make a "kids table" and sit with each other instead of their own families. It was a beautiful sight and we realized during our week we all had become one big family.
