Special Technique(s) or Story The graphic feel of these papers inspired me to create a slick and linear page that was contrasted by the circles on the page. I loved the various shapes that the papers had and wanted to ustilize them all in one way or another, so I decided that I would cut them out with an exacto knife. Then to add a dimensional feel to the page, I backed the elements with chipboard to "lift" them off the page. Journaling This picture is rare. You never crawl in this thing. I try to place it neatly in the closet, but the second it goes in there, you are right behind taking it apart and sprawling it in your bedroom. It just becomes what you feel is a necessary accessory in your room. I call it clutter. Grandpa and Grandma thought that this monstrosity would be a plaything that would bring you hours of fun. They figured that you would laugh and crawl and hide out in this thing. They figured wrong. The one thing that they did get correct is that you would love it. They just didn’t realize that you would love it not doing a stinking thing but making a mess of your bedroom! Materials Used Cardstock: (light blue and white) Bazzill, (lime green) Die Cuts With A View, (brown and orange) unknown Patterned Paper: Urban Lily Extreme Collection in Maxi Dot, No Regrets, Retro, Allstar and Attitude Chipboard Fonts: Impact (MS Word)
