This is just a journal entry of actually our move to portland oregon. It's too long to re-type it out so I'll give you the short of what happened. My dh drove down with his parents and sister and all of our stuff and myself and my ds flew down the next day. When we arrived I found out that our car and my inlaws truck had gotten broken into and a lot of our stuff was stolen. The thing that bothered me the most that was stolen was our digital camera and our video camera, both of which had our ds first christmas pics on and the video of him in the hospital when we had him. I was so not happy. Then when we saw our apartment for the first time I was even more disappointed! It was disgusting! It smelled like wet dog, the carpet was disgusting and there was mold in the carpets. Needless to say it wasn't a good first impression of Portland for us, but things did get better! I just wanted to scrapbook that experience so that I would always remember that no matter what happens the most important things in life are family! tfl
