The note on the back of this photo says that I am actually playing hide and seek with grandma. But the lesson works better to play up the shy angle.
My daughter takes her time to get to know people before venturing out of her shell. My son and I are both gregarious, outgoing, and talkative, and she often wonders if being shy is bad. My Quiet hubby and I always encourage her to be herself and be true to her emotions... I thought this photo of me looking shy might help her see that it is indeed OK...
