This is the first son of Parker Wm Foster, Verna. He was my grandfather's brother, my great uncle. He died as a very young man at "Insane Asylum Number 3." My grandfather talks of him having "fits." I suspect it could have been epilepsy or a similar disorder because the epileptic were often instutionalized at that time. We have not had any other mental disorders of epileptic persons in the family that I know of since so its hard to tell with the little information I have on him. I think I am lucky to even have these photos. Can you not feel the pain of his parents? I included the story on the back of the LO as I cannot validate my thoughts.
