I could not believe it when I first saw the original photos. I felt I was looking at very old National Geographic photos of a wedding of the Boras Indians of the Peruvian Amazon! I noticed the toes because their configuration indicates they frequently climbed trees. These photos were taken and numbered to chronicle DH grandfather's assignment as Colonel with the Colombian Army while escorting the missionaries in 1930 and 1931 to establish missions within native tribes of the Amazon.
