I have always loved to read, I can remember being too young to go to the library so I would beg my oldest sister to bring me books. The most wonderful day was when I could finally sign my own name and get my own library card (I was 4). Years later when I was moving from the Children's room I was given that original registration to take to the adult desk and was just a little embarrassed about my signature. YRAM (I mirror wrote until I went to school). The photo on the bottom appeared in the local paper when I was six. The caption started "how do you spell perplexed?"
The top right embellishment is an old library card from Clackamas County OR and the book plate is one from the box I use for special books.
On the right hand page are pix of just some of the book piles to be seen around my home now. More journaling is on the card tucked into the library pocket.
