My dd was in 9 dances in her recital in 2011 - two of them were for her Intermediate Modern class. Of the nine portraits, I only really like three, two are 'okay,' and two are terrible. The other two are not bad photos, but her expressions don't fit the dances so I don't really like them. This is one of the 'okay' ones. They danced to "So, In This Hour..." by The Rocket Summer. You can see the LO's I've completed for other 2011 dances and earlier years in my Dance LO's Album in my gallery. All her professional dance portraits have been taken by Cass Photography.
This is for the June Monthly Sketch Challenge - Week 2.
I embossed the two red and the onyx cardstocks with a clockworks pattern and used the metal clocks to go with the 'time' theme. I stamped and heat embossed the white boxes and outlined them with pewter ultrafine glitter. I also put some red ultrafine glitter in a few places on the LO. I machine zigzag stitched in white as well. I cut the title on my Cricut - it shows up better IRL.
