A fun page of me giving Ruby a bath. I used Cosmo Cricket's Snorkel line on this. I punched out all the circles and rings and pop-dotted some of them. The big splash was hand cut and inked. I used my cricut to do the title. Journaling is hidden under the photos and reads:

"While out shopping one day, Mama and I received a phone call from the boys. They informed us that Ruby had gotten into something outside and we needed to come home ASAP. So we quickly finished our shopping and hurried home. When we opened the door we were overwhelmed by the most awful stench. I don't even know how to describe it. It was BAD! As we walked down the hall the stench got stronger. And at the end of the stench trail, there sat Ruby, locked in her pen, with the saddest pair of eyes I've ever seen. My mother looked at me and said, “She's your dog. You bathe her.” Funny how she's always my dog when she's bad. After a few protests and gasps for air, I agreed, arming myself with rubber gloves and a bandanna doused in cologne. The bandanna was to be my mask so that I wouldn't breathe in the stench. And so I set to work- lathering, rinsing, and repeating until the smell was gone. As you can see in the photos, Ruby pouted the entire time. After spraying the entire house with Febreze several times over, we headed outside to uncover the source of the stench. But there was nothing. Not a trace of evidence. Guess we'll never know…You know, I think there's a lesson to be learned in all of this--- When you're out shopping, having a good time…DON'T answer the phone!!!
