Beautiful job Neda! I love the shaker you made out of the slide mount and the way you used the jewelry tags for your title. No wonder you were so proud! TFS
This is for the scrap pack #6 challenge. I really love these photos of my mother and they just seemed perfect for this challenge. I loved that the larger picture, which is her senior photo, actually has her handwriting on it. Thanks for all the fabulous items.
I used the twill tape to accent the frame of her baby photo as well as stringing some of the beads on the hat pin and accenting as well. I used walnut ink (for the first time) on both sets of tags. I used the eyelets on the jewelry tags and attached them to the fiber with safety pin and then attached that to the fabric bag to make my title. ANother first for me was the slide mount shaker. I comvered it to match the frames and used fun foam ran thru my xyron and made this cute shaker. You really can't tell on the photo but I used a lace print vellum in the shaker window. I used the brads on the corners of the larger photo. I attached the larger tags with the metal ring and placed the little gold jump rings on each one and used the page pebbles to accent them. I cut fiber pieces and bunched them up and accented the tags. Again this was so much fun and I got to try new things. Now I can break out the rest of the slide mounts I have and play with them.
