Page two of Lo for granddaughter's album about our yearly camping trip to Devil's Lake. It was a special day because my sister and her family came up for the day. They had never been to Devil's Lake. After a day of fun they couldn't believe that they hadn't been there before. It's only an hour and a half from their house. The journal cards read This year we arrived at Devil's Lake on Thurs. June 25th. We left on July 2nd.. We had the best weather of the entire summer. Of course we had two storms at night, but they weren't too bad. I still prayed for our safety under the trees.
Second card: The Davis family had never been to Devil's Lake. Rick, Jean, Annie, her boyfriend Garth & Callie came up for the day. ricky wasn't able to come. We wanted to show them a great time. You, and Daddy took them on a hike and to jump off the rocks. Then you all joined us on the beach.
