Photos of my girls in 1978 when we lived in Tennessee. My original photos were so orange that I had to scan them and clean them up some. I used G45 Domestic Goddess paper collection. I used a kraft cardstock base. the newsprint mat was distressed and inked. The mat behind the teapot was cut with a TH die, the two tag dies were cut with Spellbinder dies. The teapot and teacup were stamped in blue on white cardstock, then I cut them out. I mussed them slightly with some brown inki too. The big scalloped scallops were punched with a MS punch. The "steam" on the teacup is a Papertrey Ink stamp stamped in brown. I backed the scalloped scallops with black cardstock so it would pop. The "tea for two me and you" and "it's a tea party" tags were stamped with sentiments from the same PTI stamp set. I added black half pearls to each scallop. I also added a few doodled lines around the outside. Journaling is tucked behind the top photo and reads:
When you two were about 3 years old and 15 months old, you loved nothing better than to have a little tea party for your lunch. We'd drag your little wooden table and chairs into the kitchen. Kimmer, you were still so short that we had to put a pillow under you so you could reach the table. Traci would be the perfect little hostess and help me get your sandwiches and drinks to the table. I loved watching you two have your little tea parties never dreaming that time would fly by so quickly and that before I could blink, you'd be having tea parties with your own children. I miss those simple days!
