Give a Cheer
This is for the March Monthly Sketch Challenge week 1. This was such a fun sketch to work with, and it really stretched me to try a few things I hadn't ever done before. I'm pretty new to the whole digital scrapping thing.
I also did the extra challenge, which was to use bling. That was a little complicated with the whole digital thing. The flourishes are supposed to be "glitter flourishes," but I don't personally think they look particularly glittery. LOL. But the brads definitely look sparkly, so I'm thinking this counts. :)
All the papers, the ribbon, and the big letters are from the Breathe kit here.
The glittery brads are from the Funky kit here. (I can't find it when I search using the "products used" feature, but you can find it in the free download portion of the digital store)
The glittery flourishes are brushes from obsidian dawn.
The paper I used for the journaling strips, the template for the scalloped circle, and the templates for the crumpled circles came from www.storeide.se/gunhild/
the font on the journaling strips is Quid Pro Quo, which I downloaded from dafont.com
The sweet little girl is courtesy of my uterus. Baha.
