I thought I'd show the hail today when I realized I could use this as a mini. My DH and I worked at Penn Station, many years ago together. On my first day of work (he was there also) I was given the job of using the meat slicer to slice steak. I got a brief tutorial on how to use it and was told to get busy. I did and in the process I sliced my middle finger down the middle. It sliced my finger parallel to the way the fingernail grows. Of course I went to the back room of the place and the owner took me into the walk in (cooler) where I passed out "briefly" on him. Didn't get stitches just bandaged it up good. After I felt better I got right back on the slicer and went to town, more cautiously for certain. I never sliced my finger again as long as I worked there, lol! Took forever to get feeling back in the tip of that finger too! :)
