Monterosso ~*~Nuts About Sketches~*~

This is me and my sister at the overlook at Monterosso, the fifth village of the Cinque Terra in Italy. I knew that I wanted to create a mini-album for my mom of me and my sister, so every town we went to, I made a point to get a photo of the two of us. My sister was, for her, very cooperative, and most of the photos turned out usable.

My plan is to give the album to my mom for Christmas. I'm pretty sure it will be the perfect gift, especially if it's a surprise. The layout is an 8x8 so that's why the little scallop flowers look so big on it. I want my mom to be able to put the book on her lap and handle it easily, and the 12x12 size is just too cumbersome for her to manage.

This is for my DT work at Nuts About Sketches, Sketch #238 out this week.

I'm also going to play it in the monochrome challenge for fallen leaves since the color palette is right for that along with the neutrals.

And I think I'll add it to the Girls Girls Girls challenge as well.
