Pics of Abby in the backyard on Memorial Day 2008. She will play ball tirelessly, and she stands next to it and barks at you if you stop playing. The far left photo is one of Cassie's and my favorites - I managed to catch the ball in the air and Abby's hind legs off the ground with her hair flying up to show her blond backside. LOL We call it the butt picture. I love the one next to it too with her front legs off the ground. She's almost a year and 4 months here, and she'd just weighed in at the vet -- 5 1/2 pounds.
This is for 1) January 2 Page Sketch Challenge. I added two photos to the sketch.
2) Pet Challenge. The twist was 'New' - I used my new Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink for the first time, and I opened a new alpha package - the black American Crafts. I also tried something new to make my hexies - I used my CM cutting system to make them - the smallest is about 3 1/2" with rounded corners, so I made those and cut 1/4" off each side to come up with 2 1/2" hexies with sharp corners. It was time consuming, but I like how they came out.
I used foam tape to pop up the ends of the flags, the center of the 'Sweet' tag, and the bee. I doodled the bee trail and some stitches on the yellow hexies and flag.
