Here is a 8. x 11 "layout" of the 12x12 I just did. This is not for a scrapbook but for a genealogy book. The pages will need to be flat, so no flowers, brads, or elements that stick up. I will be able to utilizie dies, punches, ink, stamps however, that will add a lot to look.
The 8.5 x 11 paper is a pad called "Poetic Postage" by The Paper Studio. It's all very vintage and lots of glossy embossing. The nice thing is that I can just select the background page I want, no measuring or cutting. I also purchased some 8.5 x 11 acid free page protectors at an office supply store for the pages that have documents and photos.
