That was my first thought also, but then I realized how much "stuff" I have that I very, very rarely access. Putting it up high would be a great way to keep lower space handy for those things you reach for all the time. Do you find your "posture chair" comfortable?

My desk is being used as a post-birthday, pre-crop dumping ground. Everything else is pretty organised, although I need to sort out my ribbons, papers and stickers, and put away my scraps into the concertina folder that normally lives under the desk.
