We arrived in Vancouver, travelling in luxury on the Rocky Mountaineer, and had the most amazing suite in the Fairmont Rim. They didnt have a harbour view available (which was part of the package) so gave us a HUGE suite - two balconies, two bathrooms, and even an iPad for the aircon/drapes/heating/lighting etc. It took dh 20 minutes to work out how to switch the lights off - so of course I had to take a photo! We met up with our old friend Tres, and had a great time on the beach, exploring Granville island market and Gastown. A great way to spend a day with a good friend!
