Give a Cheer
ts time to swing! A pretty clean card using the stamp set Time to Par-tee and the stencil Stardust. I started on Neenah cardstock and stamped the golfer in black Versafine Clair and then embossed with WOW! Clear gloss super fine powder. Since I wanted to protect the golfer, I stamped again on a post-it note and cut it out. The stencil worked perfectly to accent the golf swing and I used Distress Oxides (Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber) and Nuvo glimmer paste (Moonstone) to create a sparkle. Its so satisfying to peel that post-it mask off and reveal the embossed motif. While the background was put aside to dry, I stamped the inside of the card and matted it with black cardstock, then stamped and embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock. When dry, I framed the panel with a black fine liner pen and black cardstock and attached it to a card blank. Finally I attached the sentiment with 3D foam. A hole in one for someone who loves golf?
