Give a Cheer
I trimmed the green gingham square to 7" and attached it diagonally. I matted the photo on one deep yellow, patterned paper and trimmed another deep yellow paper rectangle with edging scissors before putting it under the green gingham square. The deep yellow was chosed to bring out the color of some flowers in the base print. A gemstone filagree was placed over the photo and papers and a strip of large clear gemstones was cut and placed on the opposite corner of the mat. Paper flowers were attached to the edge of the square to mimic the larger ones in the base print. The title was cut from pink irridescent vinyl and placed in two curves using a protractor as a guide. The color of the letters was too similar in tone to the greein in the gingham so I outlined the letters in a deeper pink.
