This is page one of this layout. I did it for the BOM challenge and the green challenge. Page 2 of this layout shows the mini book open with another picture and 2 pages of journaling. The journaling on the left says
When I was born, my mom was just 17 years old. She was married to my father. She lived in a small trailer behind my Grandparents hourse in the woods.

My grandparents were a great source of suppor for us. Every morning, they would come to our trailer and get me. We would spend the day picking wild blueberries, playing in the garden and sitting in an old rocking chair on the big back porch singing songs. I know that I must have been very young, but I can remember the comfort and happiness that I felt.

As I grew, many things changed. My mother and father divorced and she remarried when I was about 3. My father faded into distant memory and this man became my Daddy. When I was about 8 years old, he legally adopted me as his daughter and gave me his name. Had he adopted me when I was a baby, I never would have known. He loved as his own and made me his own. This is my journey from who I was to who I am.

The journaling under the photo just details the 2 photos on the page and the journaling on the right is an event list from 1971 - the year I was born.

I made the wire word - journey and the My is an M sticker placed on a peice of torn paper (that has been chalked). The mini book is made of some kind of leather paper.

I made the slide mount. It was a white card board design original. I wrapped in some of the background paper, mounted daisies from my wedding bouquet in it and glued down the charms. I cut a flower out of the background paper and mounted it in the concho below the mini book.

In the mini book, I attatched a peice of the floral paper, inked it, tore out the journaling and chalked it.

I inked the tag and the large photo before mounting them to the mesh.
