To get the look of fall leaves, I used a punch to punch out the leave shape then wet the cardstock and crumpled it. Then I let it dry and attatched it to the page. Journaling: "Fall is always a beautiful season in Iowa. I have always loved watching the leaves change and fall to the ground. On this October day, we took the girls to Weed Park in Muscatine to play in the leaves. This was Annika's first experience with fall leaves. At fist she wasn't quite sure if she liked the crunchy, scratchy texture of the leaves and she wasn't really sure what she was suppose to do with them. She tried eating them, of course, but decided that they weren't very tasty. After a short lesson from Alexis, she was throwing the leaves in the air and laughing as Alexis buried her in leaves! It was a great time and the weather was gorgeous. We headed to the pumpkin patch after playing in the leaves. What a fabulous way to spend a sunny, warm fall day!"
