Journaling reads: My senior year... a bittersweet experience after Vorwald's departure at the end of the previous year and watching Phillips, the new band director, for whom I quickly lost all respect, run our band into the ground. I was upset that my last year in band was turning out to be so frustrating and heart breaking, but recognized that it was going to make leaving a lot easier... which I found strangely comforting.

And yes... i punched ALL of those little flowers out... stacked them all and punched what seemed like thousands of tiny holes for the brads which i used to stick them to the page. Needless to say, I was glad when this page was done. Shoot!
