Journaling reads: One evening, we were writing on your chalkboard. I was writing your name and saying the letters aloud. I asked you if you wanted to try to write your name. You were very excited. I wrote at the top to demonstrate. You followed instructions perfectly. You were so delighted at your accomplishment. You ran to get your brothers and daddy to show them what you had written. They were so happy and gave you a standing ovation. I grabbed my point and shoot camera which has a glaring flash. Your room was a mess, your hair was wild and this is not a perfect photo by any means. I don’t care. I am just thrilled to have this photo of my sweet little girl writing her name for the very first time. 1/30/2008
