For DD's book. There will be hidden journaling behind that page that says most of it:

Ever since I can remember, you have hated Valentine's Day. Okay, maybe not in first grade...I think you got a bracelet from J*** H****** that year. But since then you have hated it because you haven't had a boyfriend whenever Valentine's Day rolls around. And since you got into high school, your feelings about this have only gotten stronger every year.

But I want to remind you that you DO have a man in your life...and his name is Ethan. Boyfriends are going to come and go. Maybe even husbands (although I hope not). Break-ups happen. Divorces and death happen.

But this little guy loves you like no other guy is ever going to love you - and you love him like you will love no other. He is your valentine - last year, this year and always. He is the one who needs to be most important in your life. He is the one who is counting on you in ways no one else will ever count on you. You & he will share life experiences that you will share with no one else.

So don't hate Valentine's Day. Remember that the day is all about loving the most important person in your life. And for you, that is your son.

The title letters have glass beads on them (pre-done that way - I'm NOT patient enough to do those all by hand!), so they photographed weird. They're really a deeper red color than they look here and it goes nicely with the bg pp. The pp itself is made to look like one of those bulletin boards with ribbons criss-crossing, so I just cut slits to stick the pictures in to give it that same effect. Foam hearts were inked with two different shades of red from Color Box Ink Petals.
