I have a small house so it's essential that my rooms are multipurpose. This scrapbooking corner is in the corner of my dining room. My dining room table can be seen to the bottom right, it's 5' x 3' with a big picture window in front for perfect lighting. I can also spread a ton of stuff on the table and see exactly what I'm working on. If I'm brave enough, I can even leave it out for days, but my littlest kids are 3 & 5 so it's a big gamble :o
I wanted something that wouldn't look real messy, but desperately need organization, so I love the cubes from Target. I tried the paper cubes on their sides, but my paper kept getting bent because I didn't have enough. I can't tell you how many times I reorganized the paper colors til I found the right fit for me. I refinished my dining room table to match the curio with baskets and in the adjoining living room I have the matching computer armoire.
