This is me, with the Eiffeltower in the background. I made this LO for Delaina's Keep me in Stitches Challenge.

I attended a workshop using Ranger products last week, and I couldn't wait start experimenting ...

I started by painting gesso on the left side of the page to create a journaling spot and masking a doily. I then inked all the papers with distress inks and adhered them and the picture to the inked BG. I stitched the Eiffel tower and some random lines (to add some touches of black, the LO was turning out a bit pale and boring ...), and the title are stickers, which I outlined with a fine black marker.

The journaling is some information about the Eiffeltower, I don't know all the English words, but I'll try to write down the most important parts:

The Eiffeltower was build in occasion of the World's Exhibit of 1889, after a design by Gustave Eiffel.
The tower is 324 metres high and consists of 15.000 metal elements. It's weight is 7.000 tons. It has 3 floors, and you'll find bars and restaurants on every floor.
On a clear day, you can see as far as 70 kilometres.

TFL xxx Peggy

Addition: I forgot to mention this, a special thanks to IngridG for giving me the inspiration to stitch the Eiffeltower in the first place, check out her LO "You and Me in Paris".
