I would have like to have cropped this but didn't get to.
Pics are from my MIL's best friend's scrapbook in nursing school. She died a few years back and her husband gave the book to her. I inherited it as the scrapbooker in the family. These photos are of a show they put on, the resident physicians and the nursing students. Back then, they worked closely with the residents, not at all like now. The photo on the left has some of the residents dressed as women. I don't have info on who everyone is, and my MIL doesn't remember either. I do have a photo of all the residents with their names on the back, but I couldn't put the faces to these faces for sure, though I had some guesses. I feel so blessed to have this book and can't wait to get them all scrapped! The photos are from approximately 1949 at Presbyterian Hospital Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
The pp was painted using bubble wrap and paint. The white in the corners was an experiement. I took resist ink and stamped with different stamps and then went over it with the white. The feathers are from the Sept scrap pack challenge I never got finished. The piano is from a computer program's image collection I found. The photos are the originals held in place by photo corners. I also have my MIL's album, and thankfully there are many doubles involved that way. The title uses my Dymo label maker coupled with unused film and letters. The letters were made by scanning a page of a vintage book (one about doing business, I copied a page that detailed how to write for labels on boxes and such; it had the letters for practice A to Z)and cutting out the letters I wanted and inking them. I can't remember the name of the paper, but it has old product lables on it. The paper with the music notes came from a collection I got from QVC by Brenda Pinnick. The photo corners are the actual ones from the old scrapbook, with new glue applied.
