What a great LO! I hope you don't mind, but I just added it to my favorites. I hope to borrow some inspiration on one of my pages some day.
Thanks,

Journaling Reads: Oh, these beautiful, free farm babies! Although we keep close track of all of our new offspring here on the farm, we allow them freedom to roam and enjoy their new life. Their responsibilities as functioning farm animals will come all too soon. But for now, we love watching the baby chicks scratch and play in a large wire pen that is moved twice a day to ensure they receive fresh ground to find new bugs in. The newly-born foals skip through pastures that are only a few acres, yet to them must seem as endless as the sky. The calves stay close to the barn as they depend on us for their milk and grain. Piles of kittens drape themselves together in the warmest spot possible, and the furry mass explodes with purring upon the light touch of a child. The puppies squirm and squeal, snuffing the freshly mown hay in the barn and playfully nipping each others’ paws.
