Beautiful shot. I planted one rhubarb plant last fall, but I think it may have died. The leaves went away early, and I haven't seen any signs of life yet this spring. I'll go out and look closer.

Oh how weird! It looks like it's hatching! LOL! Never in my 52 years have I ever seen a rhubarb plant! My family owned nurseries too! They grew a lot of Red Chard and Artichokes but I don't recall Rhubarb.

4-8-09.....rhubarb leaf....... this plant is in my backyard, I saw it last night & knew that would be my photo for today, so I braved the elements this AM for this shot. I have never seen such a tiny rhubarb leaf, I like the crinkly look. BTW, I do love rhubarb pie!! [6099]
