This is dd trick or treating. I know thiese are so nontraditional Halloween colors, but I really wanted the papers to match her costume.
Journaling Reads:
You and Daniel had been practicing saying “Trick or Treat” most of the day. You were so excited. Although this was not your first Trick or Treating experience, you don’t really remember last year, as your were too young. All you knew that if you said Trick or Treat, you were going to get candy, lots of it. So as darkness fell, we got ready and headed out. I sat you in the wagon and off we went. At our first stop, you refused to get out of your wagon. You were a bit frightened by all the people. So I would pull you up as far as the wagon would go. You just sat there, looked up and held out your bag, not saying a word. As time went on, you noticed your brother running from house to house, yelling “Trick or Treat” and getting candy, sometimes he got candy and you didn’t because we couldn’t pull your wagon up. Soon enough, you
became a little bit more confident and before we knew it, you
were out of the wagon, running up door steps and yelling
“Trick or Treat”. It was too cute.
